Written by Izaak Walton in 1653, it concerns the efforts of an experianced fisherman as he imparts his wisdom to a noive eager to learn.
The fish covered in the series are ; Salmon, Pike, Chub, Carp, Grayling, Trout, Zander, Roach, Barbel, Eels, Ruffe, Bleak, Tench, Perch and Gudgeon.
