These rods were taken from the very successful Perflex range of medium-priced rods, Mackenzie made this range to be similar but with some good advancements, using state of the art high-grade carbon we have produced a very lightweight rod, that retains plenty of power, the SLP rods have a medium progressive action which will cast all modern-day Shooting head and Skagit systems as well as Spey lines with ease, giving you a blend of feeling and power when needed
